Fire dampers working efficiently are crucial to ventilation systems. They are designed to prevent fire from being able to spread through the ductwork or other areas of a building.
Regular fire damper testing (drop testing) is critical to ensure that if there was a fire, the fire dampers work effectively and will close to stop the spread of the fire throughout the building.
All dampers will have a pre-photo, a photo of the fire damper closed, and a photo of the fire damper reset to normal position after testing has been carried out.
We will also photograph the associated ductwork to show the internal condition and record all the locations of the
fire dampers on site.
This information will all contained within a comprehensive report, with any faults noted.
You will also receive a certificate upon completion of the works.
